Marking an exciting step in the establishment of the Queensland Early Years Workforce Institute we are pleased to announce The Institute’s three founding members and inaugural Board Directors.
The Institute was created in response to a shared vision for a sustainable, capable and future-focused early years workforce. Following extensive consultation with the sector and the Queensland Government’s commitment to strengthening workforce capability, the Institute is being established as a sector-led organisation dedicated to workforce planning, development, leadership and professional learning across Queensland. Bringing expertise across governance, education and workforce development, philanthropy, public policy, organisational leadership and the early years sector, the Institute’s inaugural Board brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to lead The institute through its establishment and development.
The appointment of our inaugural Board marks more than a governance milestone. It brings together a group of highly regarded leaders who share a commitment to supporting the people at the heart of Queensland’s early years system. Their combined experience, insight and stewardship will help shape The Institute’s future and guide its contribution to a stronger workforce to ultimately enable better outcomes for children, families and communities across Queensland.
