Our Governance
The Queensland Early Years Workforce Institute will have an integrated governance and advisory system to guide, advise and govern the organisation.
A skills-based Board of Directors with a total of 7 members will be appointed. Until the launch of The Institute in October 2026 a Steering Committee will guide and oversee the organisations transition until the Board is appointed.
Sector advisory mechanisms will facilitate advice and direction to the role and work of The Institute including a Stakeholder Advisory Council, Fourteen Regional Alliances and a First Nations Statewide Alliance. An interim Stakeholder Advisory Council is in place during the establishment period with more permanent mechanisms to be developed.
